Installation Requirement of Buried Cable

1. Cable directly buried in the ground, generally suitable for armored cables
2. The excavated trench must have a soft soil layer and no stones or other hard debris. Otherwise, it should be covered with 100mm thick soft soil or sand. The soil around the cable should not contain substances that corrode the metal sheath of the cable (acid-alkali liquids, lime, slag, humus, and hazardous residues, etc.), otherwise they should be removed and replaced. The depth of burial shall not be less than 0.7m (in severe cold areas, cables shall be laid below the frozen layer).
3. After the cable is laid, the top should be covered with 100mm thick soft soil or fine sand, and then cover the concrete protection board. The cover width should exceed 50mm on both sides of the cable diameter. In general, bricks can also be used instead of concrete protection plates.
4. There should be pig iron or concrete protection box outside the cable middle joint box. If the surrounding medium is corrosive to the cable, or there is often water in the ground and it may freeze in the winter, the column should be filled with asphalt.
5. The cable joints must be underlayed with a concrete base plate, the length of which should protrude approximately 600-700mm from both ends of the protection box. When a cable is introduced into a tunnel, a hole or a building from a trench, it should be put in the pipe and the nozzle should be blocked to prevent water leakage.
6. Cables should cross each other, cross over non-heat pipes and channels, and pass through roads and walls. The length of the protective tube shall be 1m before and after the intersection, the net distance of the intersection shall not be less than 250mm, and the inner diameter of the protective tube shall not be less than 1.5 times the outer diameter of the cable.
7. The distance between the cable and the building should be more than 0.6m, and keep 0.6m away from the electric induction. The distance from the drainage ditch should be greater than 1m, and the parallel distance from the heat pipe is 2m (non-thermal pipe is 1m), and the distance from the tree is 1.5 m.
8. When the unarmored cable is led out of the ground from the ground, parts with a height of 1.8m or less shall be protected by a metal pipe or a protective cover to prevent mechanical damage (except electrical special rooms).
9. Both ends of the metal jacket of the armored cable should be reliably grounded, and the grounding resistance should not exceed 10Ω.
10. The stakes shall be buried at the place where the cable passes through the non-permanent buildings, and cable stakes shall also be buried in the joints and turns.
